Rook Scarf

.

I made a lot of scarves for Christmas this year, but by far, I think this is my favorite. Made it with Patons SWS wool for my sister. The way the yarn self-stripes is perfect for this pattern. It measures 58.5" long by 6.25" wide.

Crochet pattern designed by Sophia Kessinger.

Slanted Stitch Scarf

.
I crocheted the scarf below for my Grandma this Christmas who taught me many, many years ago how to crochet. I'd like to make one of these in Patons SWS Wool. This one below is made in Autumn Red in Caron Simply Soft:

Divine Hat

.

The Divine Hat was designed by rheatheylia.com, a free pattern for a beautiful hat with cables spiraling down. There are several I've crocheted pictured below in different colors.
I have some of these hats in my Etsy Store if you would like to purchase them there or email me at YarnDesigns@gmail.com to have one custom made. Can do in wool, acrylic, blended fibers, and cotton.

Reversible Ribbed Men's and Women's

.

This is probably the most verstatile hat! Can be made in any color, any size, and it's reversible. It's now my favorite! I made several of them for Christmas presents and was able to tweak the pattern to make it fit a larger man's head comfortably. It's an awesome pattern designed by Nancy Smith.

My son always wants skater hats, and this is perfect for that. Made one in acrylic and one in 100% wool for him. Here's some pictures of the various colors I've done thus far:

Blue with white stripes for older child:

Black with blue stripes for adult regular size:

Multi-colored, adult size (21" circumference):

For the larger head, both with black crown:

This one was made for a child. You can see the hat is reversible in the pictures below. One has the ribbed look and the other side is a smoother finish:

Below is made with a thinner yarn so the stitches are smaller, but the hat is the same size as all others, just more ribbing, made with Country Blue and Forest Green:

Victorian Shell Wool Mitts

.
Fingerless gloves in wool. I did the ones below in Moss Heather. Pattern found on Bron's Blog. These fit a regular adult size hand. These were fun to make and because they are wool, nice and stretchy to keep my hands warm, but still functional.

Baby's Pinafore

This was such a darling little dress, I just had to make it! I don't even have a little girl, but it was such a cute pattern, designed by Maxine Gonser. I made this one with Bernat Baby Coordinates yarn. So soft!

Soft Pink Afghan

.

Made for Kim (step-daughter) for her birthday. This took about 10 days. I used Caron Simply Soft Plum Wine.

And here's a picture of my wonderful husband putting on the many, many (!) tassels for his daughter's afghan. He's not the crocheting type, but he wanted to help me :)
