Reversible Ribbed Men's and Women's

This is probably the most verstatile hat! Can be made in any color, any size, and it's reversible. It's now my favorite! I made several of them for Christmas presents and was able to tweak the pattern to make it fit a larger man's head comfortably. It's an awesome pattern designed by Nancy Smith.

My son always wants skater hats, and this is perfect for that. Made one in acrylic and one in 100% wool for him. Here's some pictures of the various colors I've done thus far:

Blue with white stripes for older child:

Black with blue stripes for adult regular size:

Multi-colored, adult size (21" circumference):

For the larger head, both with black crown:




This one was made for a child. You can see the hat is reversible in the pictures below. One has the ribbed look and the other side is a smoother finish:



Below is made with a thinner yarn so the stitches are smaller, but the hat is the same size as all others, just more ribbing, made with Country Blue and Forest Green:

This is an awesome hat. I'm so glad I made it! I crocheted a couple of them for Christmas this year for people in Vanna's Choice yarn. Thinking I'll do one in pure wool sometime.

Fits any size head as it stretches well. My mannequin head is 21" and it fits perfectly, but will stretch to 23" just fine. Made one in Honey Brown:

Made with acrylic yarn, measurements are:
Circumference -- 22" - 23" (can be made for 21")
Crown to rim -- 7.75" (can be taken up for smaller heads)

The ones you see in the pictures below are in different colors. Any two colors can be made to fit your need. Please be sure to measure your head size before ordering. If you want this made in cotton or wool, the price will vary.
