Misses Tam (Reversible Shells)

I made another slouchy beret in the morning, listed it my Etsy store and within an hour, someone bought it! I'm so grateful there are customers out there who appreciate handmade products. I love this design as it makes a hat that is reversible and it can be worn in several different ways. I found the pattern in a 1960's knitting magazine the other day, made a few minor changes and voila! I think I'll try it in other colors, but for now, I did it in green as you can see below:





I'm going to do this hat in wool and a soft yarn that will drape to see how it turns out. Will post more pictures later.

Shells and V Stitch Beret

I love making hats! Designed this one using mostly shells and V stitches. Made with soft acrylic yarn. Measures 20" circumference and from 9" crown to rim.
